  Our beloved dog passed Suddenly (suspected embolism) Saturday the 14/10/23. So we called Pets RIP Toowoomba and used the emergency number and left a message. Been over 24 hours now and no call. I understand that they have a life and deserve weekends but It's not hard to have someone on call even if it's just to advice what to do.
  
  Luckily a competitor from Wamaran was willing to meet me halfway and show our pet the love and respect she deserves.
  
  Pets RIP I wonder what the R really stands for in these hot summer temps :(

  I live in the central west of QLD and unexpectedly had to have my precious Roxanne euthanised because of illness. I immediately had Pets Rest in Peace in mind for Roxanne's cremation as a friend works for the company and he often spoke about his role with sincere compassion.
  
  I contacted businesses closer to me - just in case I couldn't get released from work commitments. The closest (300klms away) one at Mackay, although polite, could not accommodate my needs - as I needed to have the service performed over the weekend; I wanted to have Roxanne with me - there and back. The company at Emu Park finally responded to my voice message two weeks later and were extremely rude!!
  I contacted Beric and he was extremely helpful and accommodating. I thought "Bugger work - I will drive the distance required to ensure my baby girl received the respectful service she deserved".
  Beric stated he would always do his best to accommodate people's needs - especially those of customers from the rural sector who have lengthy distances to traverse.
  Beric and his daughter met me on their day off and Roxanne was cremated and given back to me in her lovely urn by the Sunday. They obviously didn't have to go out of their way but they did and it made the whole ordeal of losing Roxanne just a little easier to cope with.
  I have had a few dogs cremated with other companies around Brisbane whilst I lived there, not one of those experiences can compare with this one. Beric and his daughter seemed quite sincere, I didn't feel like I was a business customer.
  I obviously highly recommend this service for your much loved pet, I am so pleased I had heard so much about them prior to requiring their service.

  Had one of my beloved girls pass away suddenly last year and was surprised to find a place locally to where I was that provided a cremation service. The staff were nice and mostly efficient. The only two things that let's them down is their 'showroom' in Toowoomba was small & dusty and their 'logo'/advertising is on EVERYTHING you receive from them. I received a number of condolence cards from the vets and specialists my girl had seen in the weeks leading up to her death and not one had the logo, advertising or contact details of the surgery. As you'll see from the images here, it's on the front and inside of the condolence card and even the most beautiful paw print and snippet of fur are glued into something that looks like a promotional folder!
  I was miffed at the time, not having dealt with many funerals/cremations, especially of animals. Now, having moved and wanting to look over it all again, I'm upset that all I see everywhere is the image from the front of the card and the business name and details, it overpowers everything.
  So, for the long term, I suggest the company tone it down a little. Your customer service experience means you won't be forgotten, so invest in some plain cards and folders. Slip a business card in with them, we won't forget you.
  I would recommend you, and advise people to ask for the paw print and fur not to be glued in.

  Absolutely gutted. Two days ago I contacted Pets RIP to arrange collection of my pet. The booking was accepted and a time for collection arranged.This morning 13/01/23 the day I have to euthanise my dog I get a call to say “sorry but we are under new management and no longer service your area.” Rattling off the name of a couple of other services just isn’t good enough. Shame on you! It’s extremely disappointing because service from Pets RIP in the past has always been amazing.
